M Fakhrul Islam, one of the prominent entrepreneurs of Bangladesh and Managing Director of iNTECH PROPERTIES LTD, has said that the construction industry needs government support to overcome the challenges it is facing.
In an interview with the media, Islam said that the real estate industry is not only an industry but also the dream of countless people. He said that the housing sector is facing many problems today, and that the government needs to take steps to ensure significant opportunities in the coming budget to save or make this industry a reality.
Mr. Fakhrul said that the government should include all organizations engaged in private housing construction as emergency service organizations. He said that the amendment of FAR, policy support of government and concerned departments will save housing industry.
Mr. Fakhrul Islam said that the real estate industry is a major contributor to the country’s economy. He said that about 40 lacs workers work in this construction industry, and that about 2 crore people rely on them. He said that the government needs to consider the importance of this industry and provide it with the necessary support.
